Dr. Gabriel Andrade

Gabriel has more than 30 years of experience advising global technology corporations and their boards on technology, AI and senior leadership.

Gabriel is deeply experienced across the technology sector, with a particular focus on systems and services, ERP software and artificial intelligence. As a senior advisor and former leader of Egon Zehnder’s Technology and Communications Practice, its cyber resilience program and its Global Innovation Platform, he has advised global technology corporations on technology and AI strategy, digitization, board composition and senior leadership challenges. His work spans CEO succession, the search and development of CIOs and CDOs, and the placement of experienced technology experts in board roles at listed and private companies worldwide; over the course of his career he has assessed close to 1,000 technology executives.

Today he serves on two technology boards, chairing the advisory board of a listed Italian technology company and the people committee of an Israeli cybersecurity company. Earlier in his career, Gabriel was a Partner at CSC Index, a Senior Consultant at Bain & Company focusing on M&A and financial services, and began his career at Baring Securities in institutional securities sales. He advises clients fluently across four languages – English, German, French and Spanish.
