Dr. Walter Bickel

Walter founded Bickel & Company in 2013 with a clear mission: To build a firm fundamentally different from consultancies. Rather than producing concepts and presentations, Bickel & Company is a specialist boutique exclusively focused on the implementation of transformation and restructuring programs.

Walter's core belief is simple: Sustainable value creation requires full ownership and accountability in order to set the drum beat for high-speed improvements. For this reason, Bickel & Company assumes operational leadership responsibility by stepping directly into executive management roles – typically as CTO, CRO, CEO, other C-level or board positions – supported by a small, highly experienced team of senior executives with true executive capabilities.

Drawing on more than 43 years of leadership experience across a broad range of industries, including managing several consulting businesses throughout his career, Walter is convinced that this pure implementation model is the most effective way to execute complex transformation and restructuring programs.

What drives him is not the creation of paperwork, but the delivery of tangible, sustainable results – working side by side with management teams, accelerating change, and helping organizations rediscover confidence, momentum, and pride through successful transformation.
