Marco has more than 21 years of restructuring, transformation and corporate finance experience.

Marco knows how to turn financial stabilization into lasting operational value, because he has spent his career on both sides of that equation: as a corporate finance advisor and as an operational and restructuring leader. This combination allows him to align banks, investors and management around one credible plan.

For more than two decades, Marco has worked where finance and operations meet. After building a strong foundation in corporate finance, he spent nine years at AlixPartners in restructuring and transformation consulting, where his focus was consistently on implementation and value creation rather than advice alone. This experience shaped his conviction that sustainable turnarounds are won on the ground, not on paper.

At Bickel & Company, Marco has taken on roles as Chief Transformation Officer and board member, as well as CRO/CFO in Managing Director mandates, with a clear focus on the industrial segment. In these roles, he leads holistic transformation and restructuring programs on behalf of banks, family offices and private equity investors, translating financial restructuring into operational reality.

What distinguishes Marco is his credibility with all sides of a restructuring situation. He speaks the language of lenders and investors, while operating as a hands-on member of management. His focus areas are stakeholder management, refinancing and value creation across the full lifecycle of a transformation.
